Helikit® is a non-invasive, non-radioactive and convenient breath test kit for the diagnosis of H.pylori. Helikit ® is safe to be used on children over the age of 6.

Overview of Test Administration

Step-by-step guide to Helikit ® administration :

 
  1. The patient exhales a normal breath sample into the reference labeled tube.

  2.  
  3. The 13C substrate is then consumed.

  5. After 30 minutes, the patient exhales a second breath sample into the second sample tube.

  6. The two tubes are then analyzed by an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS).
